OUR CORE VALUES

CHARACTER:

Our players are polite respectful individuals that care about who we are as people on and off the court.

ENTHUSIASM:

Our players are excited to be in the gym at all times, sharing the love and passion they have for the game and each other.

COMPETITION:

We take responsibility for our own development as players, on and off the court.  We know competing hard in every drill will push ourselves and our teammates to greatness.

At Finesse Inferno, we are laser-focused on taking your game to the next level.
If you are ready to put your head down and focus on the process, our coaches can guide you to real, in-game results.
Through the process, our players refine their skills, basketball IQ, and teamwork, to build work ethic and confidence that translates in games, and translates in life.

Dante's Bio

Dante Lewis is the Founder and Head Trainer of Finesse Inferno Basketball Training, bringing over 6 years of coaching experience working with athletes from 3rd grade to the professional level. He currently serves as an Assistant Coach at Northwest University in Kirkland, WA.

A Lake Stevens High School graduate, Dante continued his playing career at Whatcom Community College before transferring to the University of Hawai‘i at Hilo, where he competed at the NCAA Division II level and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science (2020).

Throughout his playing career, Dante was known for his relentless work ethic—training every day, chasing improvement, and pouring hours into his craft. But as he advanced to the college level, he discovered a hard truth: not all work leads to results. His training wasn’t translating consistently to in-game success.

This realization transformed his approach. Dante began studying how elite players train, dissecting game actions, and learning that the most effective development comes from game-like, decision-based training—not empty reps or predictable drills.

He built Finesse Inferno on that foundation. Every drill, rep, and workout he teaches today is designed to transfer directly to game performance, eliminate wasted hours, and build players who think the game and execute under real pressure.

Jaye Ohonme has been passionate about basketball for as long as he can remember, and competed all the way up to college ball, playing in the NWAC.

The game has opened many doors for him, allowing him to travel, build lasting connections, and learn from top players at all levels. In 2021, during his senior year, he made the pivotal decision to start training with Dante—an experience that has dramatically shaped his development as a player.

Growing up surrounded by elite athletes and Division 1 coaches, Jaye has witnessed firsthand what it takes to reach the highest level, fueling his dedication to the game. He is eager and excited for the next opportunity to grow, compete, and push his limits.

What Makes Our Coaching Different

At Finesse Inferno, coaching isn’t just instruction — it’s intentional development built on energy, standards, and detail.
We don’t roll out a basketball and hope players get better. We create an environment where improvement is inevitable.

High-Energy, High-Standard Culture
Our coaches bring unmatched energy, engagement, and passion every session. Players step into a gym where effort is expected, positivity is constant, and the standard is clear: prepare with purpose, compete with intent, and stay accountable to the details.
We don’t let players coast. We push them to become better than they ever thought possible — physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Every Drill is Game-Specific
Nothing we teach is random. Every drill, every action, every rep connects directly to the modern game — creating advantage, making reads, finishing through contact, spacing correctly, playing with pace, and understanding why decisions matter.
Players learn to apply skills, not just practice them.

Reps with Detail — Not Standing Around
Our sessions are built around constant movement, small-sided play, and fast-paced progression.

  • Very little standing

  • Maximum engagement

  • Repetition with intention

  • Players always involved
This keeps athletes locked in, developing game habits, and growing confidence through real application.

IQ + Skill Development Working Together
We don’t separate fundamentals from basketball IQ — we build both at the same time. From spacing reads, to movement without the ball, to decision-making under pressure, our players learn how to think the game while executing high-level skills.

A Culture Built on Growth Over Outcome
We hold players to a high standard, not unrealistic perfection. We teach them how to work, how to lead, how to be accountable, and how to embrace mistakes as part of becoming a complete player.
Winning matters — but growth is the foundation of winning.

Coaching That Meets Players Where They Are — and Elevates Them
Beginner, intermediate, advanced — every athlete receives coaching that challenges them at the right level. We separate groups by age, skill, and developmental needs to ensure every player gets a tailored experience that pushes them forward.
